Descrates is leading the charge on aiding the firefighters in the fight against wildfires. How is this possible? The tech company uses satellite monitoring to determine where wildfires are and alerts the authorities of the longitude and latitude of the fire shortly after the start of the fire. The algorithms focus on different things like time, location, temperatures of the surrounding areas.

The company is working on all different algorithms, such as tracking the fire, estimating where the fire might go, what the area would like like if the fire never existed. The technology is still being developed due to each area has to be treated differently due to the conditions of the environment.
